::: FIRST JOB :::

The transition to your first job will be difficult. Nothing you learn in school can prepare you for it. Here's help making the transition from school to work. These resources will help you get started. Your performance in the classroom impacted you alone, while at work your performance impacts the organization as a whole, your bosses, and your co-workers. The transition from college to work isn't a simple one but these guidelines should help. Most of what you learned in college will not prepare you for your first job, even if you did an internship. More will be expected of you when you're no longer a student. Starting a new job can be very stressful. You'll have to form new relationships, learn where everything is, and whom you can trust, in addition to learning how to do your new job. It can be pretty overwhelming, but the advice you find here will help.
