:::: Ranthambhor ::::
The Ranthambhor National Park is famous for the Tiger. This picturesque park located 14 km from Sawai Madhopur gets its name from the Ranthambhor Fort situated within its precincts. Animals live in close proximity to the monuments and it is an interesting sight to see a tiger resting in one of the "Chhatris" at sunset whilst the other animals drink water from the Padam Talab or Lotus Pond . This park is one of the most exotic and colourful desert National Parks in the country.
